My best friend is Ecaterina and she's a very nice girl. She's not very tall and she is slim. She's got long brown hair and brown yes. She's really pretty! She's easy-going and sociable and she's always ready to help me and the other people. People say that she's also quite decisive but cheerful. She likes going out with her friends, for example at the cinema, and she likes doing karate. On the other hand she's impulsive and sometimes negative. She tends to be sensible and Sympathetic. She doesn't like dancing and singing. How ever, i think she's a really googd laught! Personally I think she is the best!
A WEIRD FACT
One evening, after dinner, at 20:30 I went to bed to sleep. I was really dead tired because in the afternoon I had been my volleyball training. During the night I had a strange dream: I've never had a dream sso realistic! Tihs one was about a history losson in my class and my teacher was asking me questions about the ancient Rome in fifteen minutes. At the end I got an 8 and I was very happy.
The next day I woke up and I got ready to go to school. Our first lesson that day was History. When it was fifteen minutes to the second hoour my teacher decided to ask me some questions about ancient Rome. The coincidence doesn't end here! In fact, the most incredible of all was that my teacher asked me the same questions that I had dreamt at the night before. The most amazing coincidence was that the mark was the same of the dream! Not bad at all!
HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE FUTURE
I feel optimistic about the future of the planet because I think that the Earth in 50 years' time will be less polluted than today. People will use renewable energy and will pay attention not to destroy the environment and the whole planet.
But on the other hand fossil fuels, like oil, will run out and people are going to use alternative energy eventually. In my opinion we are wasting all earth's resources and causing climate change: for this reason we can combine different kinds of alternative energy.
I hope that the alternative energy sources will be enough! Personally, I think that it's possible to live in a way that doesn't damage the environment for future generatio
Of course we can stop pollution in all parts of the world, but it's a bit difficoult. It's important to reduce it in order to respect the environment. In fact we could use money to do simple actions collectively to make a big change.
People will change their lifestyle! I suppose people poeple may not want to try different means of transport, apart from bikes, so they will make walk more: in conclusion we can reduce traffic emissions and the CO2. We can become more environmentally-friendly and we can try pratical ideas to help the other people, and this will make a difference!
MY FAVOURITE SPORT
My favourite sport is Volleyball. I got interested in it when I was , while I still went to primary school. I play Volleyball three times a week in the gym, but I also play a match every Saturday afternoon. Sometimes I watch a serie A Volleyball match on TV when I stay at home. This is a sport that is played by two teams of six players each. The Volleyball court is divided in two halves by a net. The aim of the game is to hit the ball over the net with hands or armns so that it hits the ground on the opponent's side. teams may hit the ball up to three times before it crosses the net, and only score if they served. The court is divided into six zones: three for the attack (4-3-2), and three for defense (5-6-1).
I like this sport because it is amazing, demanding and exciting. I have always to keep under pressure to do the best.
MY HERO
My hero is Steve Jobs, a man out of the ordinary. Along with an old high-school classmate, Steve founded the famous Apple company, but the first location was his home garage. In 1977 Apple started to produce microcomputers: the first Apple I, followed by Apple II and the first example of computer whose monitors and hardware were incorporated. Later a thin music player, the iPod was invented Apple creted a unique product: the iPhone, a mobile "touch" where people can surf the Internet, watch photos, listen to music, whatch videos,...
Finally Steve Jopbs created a super innovative product in 2010: the iPad, the tablet to surf the Internet. Jobs proved the people of the XXI century that technology can transform for the better our lives.
A STRANGE FACT
the walls of the house. Suddenly the light bulb of the lamp broke and all books fell down from the bookcase on the floor. After that we heard a malicious laugh from the wardrobe. We were too scared, so we tried to escape, but the door was looked. I began to scream and immediately the storm stopped.
We then heard a frightening coming from the window: I immediately turned round and saw a ghost with my own eyes! At that exact moment the door opened and my friend and I ran to our parents in the living room. We told them about what had happened, but unfortunately thay didn't beleve it!
